Sun Ray Library will host an opening reception at 7p on Monday, June 13 to celebrate artwork created by students of Nokomis Montessori. Students in four classes studied books and illustrations by Eric Carle and Lois Ehlert. The first and second graders then created collages inspired by these well-known authors. Thirty five pieces of artwork and accordion books created by students will be on display through August 12. The evening of the opening will include refreshments and storytelling.
