Free Family Event at Fort Snelling - Leave from Conway Rec...

Saint Paul Parks and Rec is offering a free family event on Sunday August 11 from 1-4p at Fort Snelling.

Activities include ARCHERY, ROPES COURSE (ages 12 and up), ARTS & CRAFTS, YARD FISHING, OBSTACLE COURSE, LAWN GAMES, BICYCLING (bikes available for ages 10 and up or bring your own), CLIMBING WALLS, MAKE YOUR OWN S'MORES...

If you are driving, the Base Camp is located off Highway 55 and Bloomington Rd. in Fort Snelling< MN, 1/3 mile from the Fort Snelling Light Rail station.

But there is a FREE BUS from Conway Rec  Center (2090 Conway St.) at 12:15p on Sunday, and at Dayton's Bluff Rec (800 Conway St.) at 12:35p.

To ride the bus, you must call 651.292.6508 by WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7.
