Our schedule for our Open Houses is now set. There may be one more addition, but these folks have confirmed...
Saturday March 23 from 1-3p - State Representative Sheldon Johnson and State Senator Foung Hawj will be at our SunRay office. We will also have chances for people to talk about environmental, parks, and land use issues, as well as talk about youth and block clubs.
Monday March 25 from 6-8p - City Council President Kathy Lantry and County Commissioner Jim McDonough will be with us to talk about city issues. Along with them, Lyssa Leitner will be available to talk about Gateway and Red Rock Corridor issues. So traffic and transportation is a topic for this gathering. Again, land use, youth and block club issues can also be discussed.
Tuesday March 26 from 6-8p - St. Paul Eastern District Police Commanders Jill McCrae and Kevin Casper will be with us to talk safety issues. Once again, land use, parks, and transportation can be discussed.
There will be no specific presentations at these events. They are casual times for conversation. We will have refreshments and residents of D1 can vote for board members. In addition, we will have drafts of our proposed bylaws changes, if anyone wants to examine them and comment.
We want to hear from you. We want you to know where we are. We want you to connect with elected officials and our staff and board members.
Hope to see you there! (in the breezeway at SunRay, overlooking the transit stop...)
